Windows XP Screenshots
Last Updated: 3rd January 2003I've had Windows XP installed now since around September 2002, and over the course of time, I've taken some screenshots of various things now and then. Here is my collection of Windows XP screenshots. Click on each for the full picture, in PNG format unless otherwise specified. [Please note that this page was made when I was using Windows XP RC2 and when Windows XP was still quite a novelty.]
Civilization II, with a serial connection between XP and a 98 machine
The message I was treated to when I first booted into XP and closed the Tour...
OSPlus Disk Imager 1.4 on Windows XP, working fine
The FreeDOS kernel booting inside the XP DOS virtual machine!
A dialog that hasn't changed one bit since Windows 3.1 (except it's more pretty now and has gained What's This? help).
The Windows XP slideshow feature, providing quite useful. It automatically resizes large pictures so they fit on the screen (very handy with this particular set of pictures ;-))
This picture is in JPG format, as the PNG one was over 600kb large!
Solitaire, after I won once again. (The menus in this version of Solitaire are identical to those in Windows 3.0, and the System font is still used for messages in the status bar!)
Visual Studio.NET beta 2 running on Windows XP. A programmer at Microsoft must have had a bit of fun when it came to thinking up names for the "Feedback" button! ;-)
Well, that's all for now. Enjoy the rest of the site!
